Hair transplant clinics across London

Which areas of London do you cover?

Hair Transplants London accepts enquiries from all 32 London boroughs and the City of London. Many private hair restoration clinics are in central London, especially around Harley Street in Marylebone, but clinics operate elsewhere too. Every clinic in England that performs hair transplant surgery must be registered with the CQC, wherever it is.

Choose your preferred part of London (central, north, east, south or west) in the enquiry form. We use it to choose one vetted clinic that suits your location. We have no office or premises open to the public; we are an online introduction service.

Hair transplant clinics in inner London

Areas: City of London, Westminster, Camden, Hackney, Hammersmith and Fulham, Haringey, Islington, Kensington and Chelsea, Lambeth, Lewisham, Newham, Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Wandsworth.

Harley Street and the surrounding streets of Marylebone, in the City of Westminster, have a long-established concentration of private clinics. A Harley Street address is not a qualification or a regulator’s approval, as our Harley Street guide explains.

Hair transplant clinics in north and north-west London

Boroughs: Barnet, Brent, Enfield, Harrow.

Results grow in over about 12 months and clinics usually offer follow-up visits during that time, so consider how easily you can travel to a clinic for your consultation, the procedure day and follow-ups. Our recovery timeline shows what happens when.

Hair transplant clinics in east and north-east London

Boroughs: Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge, Waltham Forest.

Whatever the location, read the clinic’s latest CQC inspection report on cqc.org.uk before you book, and check that the report covers the location where your surgery will take place.

Hair transplant clinics in south-east London

Boroughs: Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich.

Ask who will perform each stage of the procedure, including graft extraction and implantation, and check the surgeon on the GMC register. These questions matter more than the clinic’s postcode.

Hair transplant clinics in south and south-west London

Boroughs: Croydon, Kingston upon Thames, Merton, Sutton.

If your hair loss is recent or diffuse, a GP or dermatologist can check for medical causes such as thyroid problems or iron deficiency before you consider surgery. Our female hair transplant guide covers this in more detail.

Hair transplant clinics in west London

Boroughs: Ealing, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Richmond upon Thames.

Compare the total written price for the number of grafts you need, not the headline per-graft price. Our hair transplant cost guide shows published London prices by graft count.

Inner and outer London follow the Office for National Statistics definition. The outer-London groupings are informal and used here for readability only.

Questions about areas

Are all London hair transplant clinics on Harley Street?
No. Harley Street and the surrounding Marylebone area have many private clinics, but hair transplant clinics operate in other parts of London too. Wherever the clinic is, check its CQC registration and the surgeon’s GMC registration.
Is a hair transplant cheaper outside central London?
Not necessarily. The price depends mainly on the number of grafts, the technique and who performs the procedure. Compare the total written price for the grafts you need and what aftercare is included.
Do I need to live in London to use the service?
No, but the clinics we introduce are in London, so think about travelling for your consultation, the procedure day and follow-up visits. Choose your preferred area in the form.
